Patrick J. Greening

Patrick J. Greening, 94, of Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the Chippewa Manor in Chippewa Falls.

                Pat was born December 5, 1929 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Phillip and Frances (Anderl) Greening. He served honorably in the U.S. Army in Germany.

                Pat was a dairy farmer most of his life and was a member of Holy Ghost Church.

                Pat was known for writing a lot of poems.

                Pat is survived by one brother, Ambrose (Jackie) Greening of Racine; his significant other, Elaine Cosgrove of Chippewa Falls; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

                Pat was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Joseph his twin in infancy, Phillip, Leon, Paul, Larry and Cletus Greening; and two sisters, Mary Connolly and Yvonne “Bonnie” Briggs.

                Private services will be held. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
