Steven M. Williams, 81, of Chippewa Falls, a family man and businessman died suddenly after a long battle with heart disease on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Steve was born July 6, 1942 in Cedar Springs, MI, the son of Melvin and Flossie (Copeland) Williams.
He joined the U.S. Army after high school and came back to start his career and business ventures.
Steve was a self-starter and would take on any challenges and this was right up to the day he passed. Passions were many: horses, farming, motorcycling, cars, camping and traveling with his dear wife, Connie.
His humor, competitiveness and spontaneity will be deeply missed.
Steve is survived by his wife, Connie; his daughters, Debbie Minaker and Michelle (Jeff) Moore; sons, Al (Jennifer) Petersen and Rick (Kristal) Miller; many grandkids and great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Shirley; and his twin sister, Rose.
Steve’s wishes were to have no service and to be cremated. Inurnment will be in Weyerhaeuser Cemetery in Weyerhaeuser at a later date.
