Charles K. Jasper, 82, of Chippewa Falls, village of Lake Hallie, died Monday, August 12, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.

                Charles was born December 16, 1941 in Stanley, the son of Raymond and Lorraine (Ebben) Jasper. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force from December 1, 1960 to November 30, 1964.

                On August 10, 1968, Charles married Crystal Nelson at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. He was a member of Notre Dame Church.

                Charles worked at Uniroyal for 36 years and then the Eau Claire School District before retiring.

                Charles was an avid outdoorsman with a special love for fishing. Otter Lake was his favorite spot. He spent time at the 3 Bears cabin in Barnes, WI with his family and friends.

                Charles is survived by his loving wife, Crystal; one son, Ken (significant other, Sonya Schug) of Elk Mound; one daughter, Kimberly (significant other, Eric Speckhart) of Fall Creek; one sister, Pam Kammeyer of River Falls; five grandchildren, Brandon Kruger, Benjamin Vankirk, Sarah Betts, Cassendra and Samantha Jasper; and three great grandchildren, Knox, Freya and Silas.

                Charles was preceded in death by one son, Keith Jasper; his parents; one brother, Jack Jasper; and one sister, Marilyn Sebranek.

                A Memorial Mass will be held at Noon on Monday, August 19, at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. The Very Rev. Jesse Burish will be celebrant of the Memorial Mass. Inurnment will be in Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls. Military rites will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.

                Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Noon on Monday, August 19 at the church.

A Memorial Mass for Charles K. Jasper was held at Noon Monday, August 19 at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls.

                The Very Rev. Jesse Burish was celebrant of the Memorial Mass assisted by Mass server, Dominic DeCook. Inurnment was in Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls.  Military rites were conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.

                Music during the Mass was provided by Nancy Haley and Beth Martinek. Readings were given by Samantha Jasper and Amy Mitchell. Gift bearers were Sarah Betts and Cassendra Jasper.

                Urn bearers were Ricky Berg, Brandon Kruger, Matt Savina and Benjamin Vankirk,
