Christine J. Walczak, 75, of Chippewa Falls, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire.

                Christine was born February 16, 1950 in Winter, WI, the daughter of Douglas and Opal (Sundberg) Racette.

                On August 11, 1973, Christine married John Walczak at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winter. She was a cosmetologist for many years.

                Christine loved her grandchildren; they were her world. She enjoyed being a youth mentor, liked cutting hair, watching the Hallmark Channel and enjoyed cooking.

                Christine is survived by her husband, John; one son, Christopher (Jess) Walczak of Chippewa Falls; one daughter, Sarah Walczak of Maricopa, AZ; sisters, Sandra (Paul) Hankowitz of Helenville, WI, Shirley (Joe) Wikrent of Bellevue, WA, Cheri (Alan) Abraham of Chanhassen, MN and Vickie (Bruce) Squires of Deer Lodge, MT; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Kenzie.

                Christine was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dan Racette; and two sisters, Janette Mahaney and Ruth Ann Danaher.

                Per Christine’s request there will be no services.
