Coletta "Letty" A. Warns Obituary

Coletta “Letty” A. Warns, 92, of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Care Partners Assisted Living in Eau Claire.


                Letty was born March 20, 1932 in the township of Woodmohr, the daughter of Jake and Rhea (Loew) Seibel.


                On November 4, 1950, Letty married Henry Francis “Bud” Warns at St. Peter’s Church in Tilden.


                Letty was a member of Holy Ghost Church.


                Letty worked for Spickler’s Leisure World as a sales rep, Northwest Equipment as a bookkeeper and Catlins Shoe Store in Eau Claire. She loved to dance to Howie Sturtz and was a Cub scout den mother. She also was chairman of World’s Finest Chocolate sales at Sacred Heart School in Eau Claire.


                Letty is survived by one son, Mark (Evie) Warns of Chippewa Falls; and one grandson, Doug.


                Letty was preceded in death by her husband, Bud on August 21, 2005; her parents; and one brother, Donie Seibel.


                A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18 at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. Inurnment will be in Prairie View Cemetery in the village of Lake Hallie.


                Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.


                Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls is in charge of arrangements.

AFTER SERVICE NOTICE:


                A Memorial Mass was held for Coletta “Letty” A. Warns at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18 at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls.


                Rev. David Nowicki was celebrant of the Memorial Mass. Inurnment was in Prairie View Cemetery in the village of Lake Hallie.


                Music during the Mass was provided by Judy Brist.


                Urn bearers were Joe Molumby, Brandon Ruf, Doug Warns and Rich Wallin.
