Cynthia L. Jenson, 60, of Menomonie, died Thursday, September 12, 2024 at St. Cloud Centra Care.

Cindy was born May 2, 1964 in Bloomer, the daughter of Robert and Joanne (Bowe) Sobotta.

Cindy married Robert Jenson in Mexico Beach, FL.

Cindy worked for Xcel Energy in customer service.

Cindy loved good music, dancing, fishing, the Packers and life. Those who met her will never forget how strong, independent and hard-working she was. She will be missed.

Cindy is survived by one daughter, Rebecca (Bruce) Ferris of Youngstown, FL; significant other, Scott Johnson of Menomonie; her mother, Joanne Sobotta of Colfax; two brothers, Kevin Sobotta of Chippewa Falls; and Jim (Lori) Sobotta of Eau Claire; and four grandchildren, Sophie, Rosie, Owen and Eliza.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Jenson; her father, Robert Sobotta; and one brother, Timothy Sobotta.

A Memorial service will be held at Noon Friday, September 20th at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Aaron Sturgis of Central Lutheran Church will be officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Noon Friday, September 20th at the funeral home.
