David L. Brown, 79, of Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls.

David was born June 15, 1945 in Cornell, the son of Clarence and Ethel (Gilson) Brown. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

David worked for Huebsch Cleaning Service for many years.

David is survived by two brothers, Alvin (Dolly) Buswell of Osceola and Kenneth Brown of Ladysmith; one sister, Arlys Schultz of Eau Claire; and nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, LaVerne Brown; one sister, Roxanne Ouradnik; stepfather, Arthur Buswell; one nephew, Bill Reit; and one niece, Carol Kaufman.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in the Spring of 2025. Inurnment will be in Cornell Cemetery in Cleveland Township.
