David D. “Dee” Sullivan, 61, of Chippewa Falls, town of Eagle Point, died suddenly on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at his residence.          

David was born July 2, 1964 in Sparta, the son of Quinton and Ann (Frederick) Sullivan.

On June 11, 1988, David married Donna Bowe at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. He proudly worked for Wal-Mart Distribution for many years. David’s yard was #1, enjoyed watching football, and he enjoyed chatting with his neighbors. He loved his family, playing cards with his brothers, woodworking, and boating. He liked being a dad to his son, Zach, and he encouraged his son to work hard and work with his hands.

David is survived by his wife, Donna; one son, Zach (significant other, Molly Swailes) of Duluth, MN; his mom, Ann Sullivan of Chippewa Falls; and his 8 brothers and 6 sisters. Ellen Stary, Sheila (Tom) Wanta, Dessie (Denny) Hartzell, Quintin  (Marlene) Sullivan, Kevin (Linda) Sullivan, Tim (Gail) Sullivan, Maureen (Charlie) Hebert, Jim (Mary) Sullivan, Kathy (Rusty) Welke, Dan (Sherry) Sullivan,  Shannon (Kevin) Balts, Terry (Traci) Sullivan, Pat (Aimee) Sullivan and Rob (Doris) Sullivan; and lots of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Quintin Sullivan; his sister, Colleen Beckwith; his brother, Steve Sullivan; his brothers-in-law, Fred Stary and Bud Beckwith and his nephew, John Wanta.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Noon Saturday, August 16 at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. Inurnment will be in O’Neil Creek Cemetery in the town of Eagle Point.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Noon on Saturday, August 16 at Notre Dame Church.

A Memorial Mass for David D. “Dee” Sullivan was held at Noon Saturday, August 16 at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls.

Rev. Daniel Sedlacek was celebrant of the Memorial Mass and officiated at the prayers of inurnment in O’Neil Creek Cemetery in the town of Eagle Point.

Music during the Mass was provided by Beth Martinek and Sue Van de Loo.

Urn bearers were his 8 brothers: Dan, Jim, Kevin, Pat, Quintin, Rob, Terry and Tim Sullivan.
