Harold H. Lauer, 96, of Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at LakeHouse in Chippewa Falls under the care of Mayo Clinic Hospice.

                Harold was born April 18, 1929 in Dundas, town of Woodville, WI, the son of Michael and Marie (Wolf) Lauer.

                On October 28, 1950, Harold married Gloria Hopfensperger in Holland, WI. He was a member of Notre Dame Church.

                Harold served as Executive Vice President of Falls Dairy for many years.

                Harold is survived by daughter-in-law, Debbie Lauer, along with his grandson, Michael (Molly) Lauer with great grandchildren, Rory and Milo; and his granddaughter, Amy (Adam) Potaczek with great grandchildren, Gunnar and Gage.

                Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria on February 6, 2019; his son, Steven Lauer on March 2, 2022; and his parents.

                Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16 at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. David Nowicki will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Entombment will be in Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls.

                Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16 at the church.

                The family would like to thank the skilled and caring staff from Mayo Clinic Hospice as well as the compassionate and caring staff at LakeHouse Assisted Living in Chippewa Falls.

Funeral services for Harold H. Lauer were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16 at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls.

                Rev. David Nowicki was celebrant of the funeral Mass assisted by Mass server, Mark Krejci. Entombment was in Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls.

                Music during the Mass was provided by Beth Martinek and Sue Van de Loo.

                Casket bearers were Dave, Denny and Michael Lauer, Adam and Gunnar Potaczek and Jim Wiskerchen.
