Janice L. Gezel, 82, of Chippewa Falls, died Monday, November 3, 2025 at her residence in Chippewa Falls under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

                Janice was born January 8, 1943 in Hutchinson, MN, the daughter of Stanley and Mildred (May) Gregor.

                Janice graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1961. Her first job, she worked for TCF and then she worked for the University of Minnesota in 1965. They met in 1965 and on October 30, 1965, Janice married Dennis Gezel. They just celebrated 60 years together.

                She retired in 2006 from Waconia Ridgeview Hospital in Waconia, MN. They wintered in Mesa, AZ for 16 years.

                Janice is survived by her husband, Dennis; one son, Edward (Kelly) Gezel of Ellsworth; one daughter, Brenda Keske of Victoria, MN; 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

                Janice was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Gary Gregor; and one sister, Donna Foley.

                There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in Minnesota.
