Jeffrey E. Krause, 66, of Chippewa Falls, town of Wheaton, died suddenly on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at his residence.

Jeff was born October 10, 1957 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Earl and Donna (Emerson) Krause.

Jeff married Darcy Laramy on January 21, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls. He was a member of the Labors Union Local #268. He loved his dog, Ozzie, hunting, snowmobiling, and the outdoors.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Darcy; one son, Justin Krause of Chippewa Falls; four daughters, Jolene Anderson, Jamie Krause, Rhael and Denna Laramy all of Chippewa Falls; his mother, Donna of Chippewa Falls; mother-in-law, Lola Laramy of Chippewa Falls; one brother, Rodney Krause of Neillsville; three sisters, Roxane (Brent Volkert) Hedrington of Star Prairie, Linda Krause of Hudson, and Julie (Wade) Hutton of Chippewa Falls; one sister-in-law, Dena Laramy of St. Paul, MN; five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Earl; father-in-law, Denny Laramy; maternal grandparents, Ole and Norma Emerson; paternal grandparents, George and Jeanette Krause; and brothers-in-law, J. Scott Hedrington and Kyle Laramy.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Pastor Terri Koca will be officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 16 at the funeral home.
