Jerome “Jerry” P. Hutchinson, 65, of Chippewa Falls, town of Wheaton, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at home surrounded by his family under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

                Jerry was born September 2, 1958 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Patrick and Arline (Yoost) Hutchinson.

                On June 24, 1978, Jerry married Raeann King at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. He worked for Berry Plastics for over 30 years and Cascade Tissue for 5 years.

                Jerry is survived by his wife, Raeann; daughter, Lindsay; and son, Nick (Nicole Raether) Hutchinson; his mother, Arline; two grandsons, Hoyt and Silas Hutchinson who were his greatest joys in life; brothers, Dale (Judy), Keith (Mary), and Kevin (Peggy) and sisters, Patricia Douglas and Mary (Pat) McDonald all of Chippewa Falls.

                Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Hutchinson, and brother-in-law, Noel Douglas.

                Per Jerry’s request there will be no service, but a visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 18 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls.
