Kathrynn “Kathy” J. Hebert, 75, of Gilman, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Kathy was born October 3, 1950, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Victor and Genevieve (Moriarty) Smola.
On September 29, 1973, Kathy married Robert C. Hebert at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls.
Kathy was a catholic school teacher at St. Paul’s School in Bloomer. She worked as a coordinator for CFMS Voyager’s Program from 2002 until 2008. Kathy was also a secretary at Kline Hall.
Kathy is survived by her daughters: Christina (Brian) Meservey of Eau Claire, and Suzanne Hebert (Jesse Bacholl) of Gilman; and granddaughters, Katelynn Hebert and Shaelin Kutz.
Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hebert; her parents; and sister, Janice Micke.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 5 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Daniel Sedlacek will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Prairie View Cemetery in the village of Lake Hallie
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 5 at the church.
AFTER SERVICE NOTICE:
Funeral services for Kathrynn J. Hebert were held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 5 at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls.
Rev. Daniel Sedlacek was celebrant of the funeral Mass assisted by Mass server, Mark Krejci. Interment was in Prairie View Cemetery in the village of Lake Hallie.
Music during the Mass was provided by Nancy Haley and Beth Martinek. Readings were given by Emily and Maddie Micke. Gift bearers were Katelynn Hebert and Shaelin Kutz.
Casket bearers were Jesse Bacholl, Gene Hurt, Gerald and James Macke, Brian Meservey and Tom Smola.
