Kelly Jo Bowe, affectionately known as Jo Jo or Grandma K, 55, of Chippewa Falls, town of Tilden, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at her residence.
Kelly Jo was born September 13, 1968 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Francis and Gloria (Revoir) Bowe. She graduated from Chi-Hi, Class of 1987.
Kelly Jo worked for Leinenkugel’s Brewing Co. for 29 years.
Kelly Jo is in the Hall of Fame at Chi-Hi for shot putting and a national champion when she was attending UWEC.
Kelly Jo enjoyed her deck parties. She was famous for her charcoal chicken and kuchen bread. She could talk to anyone and was a dear friend to many.
Kelly Jo is survived by two brothers, Patrick “Jesse” (Gail) Bowe of Tilden and Michael (Dawn) Bowe of Kasson, MN; two sisters, Tammy (Glenn) Rinholen of Rock Falls and Mary (Timothy) Zwiefelhofer of Tilden; six nieces and nephews, Billy (Lynn), Charlie and Anna (Eric Esser) Rinholen, Laura (Travis) McDonough, Jacob and Isaac (Abby) Bowe; 11 great nieces and nephews, Darren, Ally, Cora, Logan, Nolan, Shaw, Natalie, Charlotte, Mason, Makinley and Maci; her beloved dog, Shandy; beloved friends, Mark Bowe, Troy, Kris, David and Riley Terhark, Kelsey, Trinia, Taylar, Dylan and Maddy Anderson; and special cousin, Ann Revoir.
Kelly Jo was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Deacon Dan Rider will be officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Tilden at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 at the funeral home.
