Kenneth C. Guden, 86, of Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Home Suite Home in Tilden.

                Ken was born October 17, 1938 in Auburndale, WI, the son of Cyril and Helen (Markee) Guden.

                On September 24, 1960, Ken married Rita Wesslen in Athens, WI. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Goldsmith Council #974, the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Assembly and Notre Dame Church.

                Ken is survived by his loving wife, Rita; three sons, Edward of Collierville, TN, Jonathan of Rosemount, MN and Matthew of Unicoi, TN; three daughters, Karen Bugar of River Falls, Elaine McNamara of Goodlettsville, TN and Leslie Guden of White House, TN; four brothers, Donald of Marshfield, Raymond of Onalaska, Allan of Medford, and David of Athens; three sisters, Ruth Ann Augustine and Mary Nowicki both of Athens and Sharon Miller of Marathon; and 10 grandchildren.

                Ken was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Bryan Kortness; and his parents.

                Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 20th at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

                Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 20th at the church.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the A.B. McDonell Vision Fund in support of tuition scholarships for the McDonnell Area Catholic School students. 

        AFTER SERVICE NOTICE:

Funeral services for Kenneth C. Guden were held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 20 at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls.

                Rev. David Nowicki was celebrant of the funeral Mass assisted by Mark Birrittella. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

                Music during the Mass was provided by Beth Martinek and Sue Van de Loo. Readings were given by Edward and Jonathan Guden.

                Casket bearers were Ron Bresina, Tom Eder, Matt Elstran, Gary Jacobson, Mark Stuttgen and Don Weibel.

                The Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Assembly formed an honor guard at the Mass.
