Lois Ellen Kloss, 87, of Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Oakwood Health Services in Altoona.

                Lois was born May 21, 1937, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of William and Emily (Flesch) Loiselle.

                Lois attended Holy Ghost Grade School and graduated from McDonell High School both in Chippewa Falls.

                On August 22, 1959, Lois married James Kloss at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. 

                She enjoyed gardening, traveling, Oktoberfest, Tamburitzans, scrapbooking, collector of many things, especially Hallmark ornaments, owls, Coca-Cola, Leinenkugel’s and going for drives.

                Lois is survived by three sons, James of Osseo, John (Arlene) and Joe (Dawn) both of Chippewa Falls; three daughters, Bonnie (Mike) Beaudette of Chippewa Falls, LaVonne (Garrett Springer) Schemenauer of Eau Claire, and Janice (Don) Fritz of Chippewa Falls; one sister, Donna Burgermeister of Brookfield; one sister-in-law, Nancy Loiselle of Chippewa Falls; 41 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by Bev Olsen, Roxie Neisen, Jeff Bowe and Dee Kloss; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

                Lois was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents; and one brother, William Loiselle.

                Funeral services will be held at Noon Friday, May 24 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Gorman will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

                Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Noon on Friday, May 24 at the church. The ladies of St. Charles will recite the rosary at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

AFTER SERVICE NOTICE:

Funeral services for Lois E. Kloss were held at Noon on Friday, May 24 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls.

                Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Gorman was celebrant of the funeral Mass assisted by Deacon Dan Rider. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

                Music during the Mass was provided by Abigail Lynch and the St. Charles Funeral Choir. Readings were given by Ethan Fleming and Lauren Grill. Gift bearers were Ava, Dawson and Shasta Kloss.

                Casket bearers were Joshua Beaudette, Justin Bowe, Daniel Fritz, Calvin and CJ Kloss, and Landin Schemenauer.

                The ladies of St. Charles recited the rosary.
