Lynette E. Swoboda, 91, of Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire.
Lynette was born September 6, 1933 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Stanley G. and Eloise (Robechaud) Johnson.
On March 28, 1979, Lynette married Albert F. Swoboda at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Boyd. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church.
Lynette worked at the Northern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled for many years.
Lynette enjoyed art (painting), hunting, fishing, traveling, golfing and being with friends and family.
Lynette is survived by four sons, Jeffrey of Cornell, Scott (Camille) of Murietta, CA, Mark (Vicky) of Eau Claire and Chris (Garlynn) of Sparta; stepdaughter, Kathy (David) Kirkham of Chippewa Falls; one brother, Thomas (Barb) of Waukesha; one sister, Arlene (Dante) De La Pasqua of Grafton; 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Lynette was preceded in death by her husband, Albert on August 27, 2022; her parents; and one brother, Ronald.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Friday, February 28 at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Noon Friday, February 28 at the church.
AFTER SERVICE NOTICE:
Funeral services for Lynette E. Swoboda were held at Noon Friday, February 28 at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls.
The Very Rev. Jesse Burish was celebrant of the Memorial Mass and officiated at the prayers of inurnment in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
Music during the Mass was provided by Judy Brist. Readings were given by Chelsea Lightner. Gift bearer was Mary McDonald.
Urn bearers were Brandon, Brent, Chris and Mark Brookshaw.
