Marcella “Marcie” J. Bowe, 90, of Chippewa Falls, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Our House Senior Living in Chippewa Falls under the care of Heartland Hospice. 

Marcie was born December 5, 1934, in New Auburn, the daughter of Edward and Mable (Blomsten) Stolt.  Marcie was raised and attended school in New Auburn and graduated in 1952. 

On November 25, 1953, Marcie married Marvin J. Bowe at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. She worked at Chippewa Shoe Co. and the Northern Center, retiring in 1995.  Marcie was a member of Holy Ghost Church and volunteered at the State Arts Theater for 13 years.  She enjoyed going on many trips and loved to play Bingo.

Marcie is survived by her children, Michael (Jean) Bowe of Gordon and Susan (Dan) Fusco of Inver Grove Heights, MN; two grandchildren, Christopher Fusco, and Luke (Rebecca) Bowe; and one great grandson, Hunter Bowe; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Marcie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Bowe on March 14, 2000; her parents; three sisters, Delores Huset, Viola Stolt, and Shirley Hassemer; and two brothers, Herbert Stolt and Dale Stolt.

Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday, May 17 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Deacon Sean Hanson will be officiating. Entombment will be in Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services at Noon on Saturday, May 17 at the funeral home.

AFTER SERVICE NOTICE:

Funeral services for Marcella “Marcie” J. Bowe were held at Noon Saturday, May 17 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls.

Deacon Sean Hanson officiated at the services and at the prayers of entombment in Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls.

Casket bearers were Luke Bowe, Michael Bowe, Chris Fusco, Daniel Fusco, Blaine Huset and David Huset.
