Margaret “Margie” H. Boos, 90, of Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.

                Margie was born May 20, 1935 in Nelson, WI, the daughter of Harlan and Margaret (Hengst) Sloop.

                On May 22, 1956, Margie married Norman J. Boos at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. She was a member of St. Charles Church.

                Margie worked for Mason Shoe Company her entire career.

                She loved quilting, crocheting, fishing and camping.

                Margie is survived by two sisters, Barbara Cutting of Jim Falls, and Dottie Lonsdorf of Chippewa Falls; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

                Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Norman on September 6, 2003; her parents; two brothers, Walter Sloop, Sr., and Delmar Sloop; and one sister, Donna Tolin.

                Funeral services will be held at Noon Tuesday, June 3 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Gorman will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

                Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Noon Tuesday, June 3 at the church.

Funeral services for Margaret “Margie” H. Boos were held at Noon Tuesday, June 3, at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls.

                Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Gorman was celebrant of the funeral Mass assisted by Mass servers, Matt Amundson and Ron Bresina. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

                Music during the Mass was provided by Abigail Lynch and the St. Charles Funeral Choir. Readings were given by Diane Schemenauer.

                Casket bearers were Curt Boos, Dale Boos, Dave Boos, Keith Boos, Pat Shadick and Walter Sloop, Jr.
