Marjorie M. Dodge, 101, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Our House Assisted Living, in Chippewa Falls, under the care of Heartland Hospice.

She was born in Chippewa Falls on April 19, 1924, to the late George and Eleanore (Pfeiffer) Pevan. 

On November 28, 1959, Marjorie married Thomas Dodge in Las Vegas. 

Marjorie worked as a secretary for the state of Wisconsin for 23 years, at an employment agency.  She took pride in her typing skills and was able to type 140 words per minute. 

Marjorie is survived by her sister, Mavis Hattamer of Chippewa Falls; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents; George and Eleanore (Pfieffer) Pevan; her husband, Thomas Dodge; and her brother, Robert Pevan.

A funeral will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Notre Dame Catholic Church.  Fr. Sedlacek will officiate.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of services at the church.  Burial at Hope Cemetery will follow services.

AFTER SERVICE NOTICE:

Funeral services for Marjorie M. Dodge were held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 10, at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls.

Rev. Daniel Sedlackek was celebrant of the funeral Mass assisted by Mass server, Mark Birrittella. Interment was in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

Music during the Mass was provided by Nancy Haley and Mary Schwetz. Readings were given by Dan Rislove.

Casket bearers were Adam, Andy and Tim Blanchette, Mike Hattamer, Mike Hughes and Ters Walters.
