Michael D. Bergeman, 75, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Our House Senior Living in Eau Claire.
Mike was born September 28, 1948 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Donald and Rosemary (Picotte) Bergeman.
On June 29, 1974, Mike married Linda Roginski in Wisconsin Rapids. He worked as a plumber for Chippewa Plumbing and Heating and retired with Bartingale Mechanical as an owner.
Mike loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, his time up north at his cabin in Mason and Elk Creek, the Green Bay Packers, trips to Alaska with Gary, being part-owner of the Chippewa Valley Music Festivals.
Mike is survived by his wife, Linda; one son, Josh (Leah Grace) Bergeman of Chippewa Falls; one daughter, Rebecca (James) Raber of Eau Claire; two brothers, Jeffrey E. (Valerie) Bergeman of Eau Claire and Patrick E. (Elua) Bergeman of Tampa Bay, FL; one sister, Ann L. (Michael) Swoboda of Chippewa Falls; three grandchildren, Hannah, Noah and Isaac; and his lifelong friend, Gary Halmstad; and other relatives and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Barbara Goettl; brother-in-law, Lyle Goettl; and sister-in-law, Susan Bergeman.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Thursday, November 16 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Deacon Dan Rider will be officiating.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Noon on Thursday, November 16 at the funeral home.
Mike’s family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice and Our House Senior Living in Eau Claire for their exceptional care.
