Nancy A. Hoag, 88, of Chippewa Falls, town of Tilden, died Friday, January 31, 2025 at Home Suite Home in Tilden.

                Nancy was born July 21, 1936 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Alex and Evelyn (Boyle) Gavre.

                Nancy worked as an CNA at St. Joseph’s Hospital and then was a AODA counselor.

                Nancy is survived by two sons, Jim (Arlene) Holden of Bloomer and John (JoAnn) Holden of Wautoma; three daughters, Rochelle Holden of Bruce, Ann Murry of Texas and Katherine “Kate” (Keith) Carlstrom of Winifred, MT; one brother, Bernard (Sharon) Gavre of Eau Claire; one sister, Vickie Gavre of Texas; 10 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.

                Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, James Edward Holden; one son, Steven W. Holden; one daughter, Mary Beth in infancy; her parents; and one brother, Lawrence Gavre.

                Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 10th at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Inurnment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.

                Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 10th at the funeral home.
