Paul W. Nicolai Obituary

Paul W. Nicolai, 76, of Chippewa Falls, town of Eagle Point, died Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his residence.


                Paul was born May 8, 1948 in Eau Claire, the son of Paul A. and Winifred (Belden) Nicolai. He worked for Amdahl and Cray Research for many years.


                Paul enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle, pontooning, and he was a Master gardener and avid bird watcher.


                Paul is survived by three sisters, Lynne (Marty) Brill, Nancy (Nicolai) (William Jasper) and Kathy Nicolai all of Chippewa Falls; brother-in-law, Dale Andersen of Chippewa Falls; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.


                Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Judy Andersen.


                Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23 at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. David Nowicki will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.


                Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23 at the church.


AFTER SERVICE NOTICE:


Funeral services for Paul W. Nicolai were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23 at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls.


                Rev. David Nowicki was celebrant of the funeral Mass and officiated at the prayers of interment in Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.


                Music during the Mass was provided by Judy Brist. Readings were given by Marty P. Brill. A eulogy was also given by Marty P. Brill.


                Casket bearers were Bobbi Brill, Marty G. Brill, Marty P. Brill, Bill Jasper, Jeff Nicolai and Brandon Winger.


                Honorary casket bearers were Tammy Brill, Danielle Rihn and Nicole Winger.
