Richard H. Berg, 76, of Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.

Richard was born January 14, 1950 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Harry R. and Evelyn B. (Waterhouse) Berg.

On June 26, 1971, Richard married Linda M. Borneman at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. He worked for CT Film and later for Silver Springs in Eau Claire.

Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and gardening.

Richard is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Wade (Pamela) Berg of Chippewa Falls and Jason (Megumi) Berg of Maple Valley, Wash.; one brother, Dale (Mary) Berg of Chippewa Falls; three sisters, Dolores (Tom) Klund of Bloomer and Eileen (Michael) Bleskacek of Grimes, Iowa and Virginia Berg of Prior Lake, MN; four grandchildren: Jordan Kallbreier of Cadott, Jacob Berg of Chippewa Falls, Brandon and Tucker Berg of Maple Valley, Wash.; and two great grandchildren: Hayden and Brixton.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Larry Berg.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 14th at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Deacon Dan Rider will be officiating. Inurnment will be in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 14th at the funeral home.
