Rita C. Guden, 84, of Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at The Sycamore of River Falls.

                Rita was born May 27, 1940, in Stratford, WI, the daughter of Clarence and Fern (Aschenbrenner) Wesslen.

                On September 24, 1960, Rita married Kenneth Guden in Athens, WI.

                Rita is survived by three sons, Edward of Collierville, TN, Jonathan of Rosemount, MN and Matthew of Unicoi, TN; three daughters, Karen Bugar of River Falls, WI, Elaine McNamara of Goodlettsville, TN and Leslie Guden of White House, TN; two sisters, Mary (Joy) Cantwell of Fishers, IN and Sara Schultz of Waunakee, WI; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

                Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; her son-in-law, Bryan Kortness; her sister, Ann Kaiser; and her parents.

                Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday, March 8th at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

                Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services at Noon. on Saturday, March 8th at the church.

Funeral services for Rita C. Guden were held at Noon Saturday, March 8 at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls.

                The Very Rev. Jesse Burish was celebrant of the funeral Mass assisted by Mass server, Mark Krejci. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

                Music during the Mass was provided by David and Sue Van de Loo. Readings were given by Jonathan and Edward Guden. Gift bearers were Edward and Matthew Guden.

                Casket bearers were Edward Guden, Jonathan Guden, Matthew Guden, Michael Guden, Seth Bugar and Matthew Ellithorpe.
