Robert E. Niesen, Sr., 77, of Chippewa Falls, town of Eagle Point, died Monday, June 17, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

Robert was born October 30, 1946 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Edward and Agnes (Thill) Niesen.

On September 23, 1967, Robert married Gloria Bett at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Eau Claire. He was a member of Landmark Christian Church.

Robert was self-employed insulating homes and businesses.

Robert was a loving husband, devoted dad and proud grandpa who enjoyed hunting, gardening and was a Mr. fix-it-man.

Robert is survived by his wife, Gloria; two sons, Robert E. Jr. (Lori) Niesen of Champlin, MN and Jamie R. (Heather) Niesen of Eau Claire; two daughters, Tricia J. (Erik) Mathison of Andover, MN and Joyell (Wade) Ramharter of Chippewa Falls; four sisters, Berniece Kreuser, Bernadette Swartz and Henrietta (Patrick) Leary all of Chippewa Falls, and Nancee Mancl of Bloomer; 7 grandchildren, Andrew (Maggie) Mathison, Megan Mathison, Kate (Ian) Siedow, Jake Niesen, Blake Nolan, Brice and Hannah Ramharter; 4 step grandchildren, Karl Wall, Katelyn, Emily and Jacob Culver; and 2 great grandchildren, Nikolas Mathison and Haliah Ramharter.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, twins, Lloyd and Floyd and Don Niesen; and one sister, Shirley Vradenburg.

Funeral services will be held at Noon Monday, June 24 at Landmark Christian Church in Lake Hallie. Pastor Brad Crocker will be officiating. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Noon on Monday, June 24 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred and appreciated.

Funeral services for Robert E. Niesen, Sr. were held at Noon Monday, June 24th at Landmark Christian Church in the village of Lake Hallie.

Pastor Brad Crocker officiated at the services and at the prayers of interment in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

Music during the service was provided by Tom Chladek, Lisa Crocker and Dan Zylstra.

Casket bearers were Kim Boos, Andrew Mathison, Jake Niesen, Blake Nolan, Brice Ramharter and Tony Schneider.
