Ruth M. Hub, 90, of Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the Chippewa Manor in Chippewa Falls under the care of Heartland Hospice.

                Ruth was born December 17, 1934 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Alfred and Margaret (MacPhail) Hub. Ruth was a member of St. Charles Church. She worked for Chippewa Shoe Company for many years.

                Ruth is survived by one niece; and seven nephews.

                Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kenneth Hub; and two sisters, Jean McClellan and Nancy Pevan.

                Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 31 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Michael McClellan, a great nephew, and Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Gorman will concelebrate at the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls

                Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31 at the church.

                Ruth’s family prefers memorials to St. Charles Church.

Funeral services for Ruth M. Hub were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 31 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls.

                Rev. Michael McClellan and Rev. Michael J. Gorman concelebrated at the funeral Mass assisted by Mass servers, Matt Amundson and Ron Bresina. Interment was in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

                Music during the Mass was provided by Abigail Lynch and the St. Charles Funeral Choir. Readings were given by Jim McClellan.

                Casket bearers were Anthony Clark, Tom Pevan, Avery, Blake, Carter and Preston Salsbury.
