Tom was born August 26, 1940, to Stanley and Bernice (Wolak) Mazur in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in Cicero, IL the oldest of four children. There he met Geraldine Jankovsky, they married on January 21, 1961, and together had 6 children. Tom and his young family moved to Chippewa Falls in 1968 where their family, faith, and love for the outdoors grew. Geraldine passed away in 1975. On July 2, 1983, Tom married Chippewa Falls native Janet (Isom) Mayer. Janet remained at Tom’s side until his passing. He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Charles Church.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Janet; one son, Thomas (Rachel) Mazur of Chippewa Falls; five daughters, Theresa (Pat) Mackey of Boyd, Suzanne (Brian) Starck of Cadott, Michelle Mazur, Jerilyn (David) Sahr, and Katie (Jim) Price all of Chippewa Falls; three step children, Geoffrey Mayer and Kenneth Mayer both of California, and Christina Mayer of Menomonie; two sisters, Marilyn Lada of Cicero, Illinois and Edwina (Edward “Mike”) Ryska of California; 23 grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Audrey, Sarah, Steve, Ben, Shaun, Jacki, Lindsay, Joey, Jonathan, Bethany, Robbie, Allison, Andrew, Adam, Joseph, Aidan, Grace, Alyssa, Deanna, Anjel and Mila; and 27 great grandchildren.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Tom found happiness while fishing. In his boat with rod and reel in hand he created memories with generations of family and friends and bonds that will continue for lifetimes.
Tom had a full life filled with music, laughter, and family. While playing songs on his accordion he had all the grandkids dancing in the living room. He enjoyed dancing with Janet, his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids at Oktoberfest. Holidays at his house were filled with people, laughter, food, and happiness.
Tom will be missed by many but lives on within all who knew and loved him. We know he will be finding the best fishing spots for when we meet again.
