Timothy J. Bowe, 66, of Eau Claire, died suddenly on Monday, December 4, 2023 at his residence.

                Tim was born June 2, 1957 in Bloomer, the son of Kenneth W. and Dorothy (Olson) Bowe.

                On October 7, 1978, Tim married Julene Larson at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. They recently divorced after 44 years.

                Tim worked for Atlas Adhan Industries in Cadott for many years.

                Tim enjoyed restoring 1974 vintage arctic cat snowmobiles, He was a dealer for AMSOIL, he loved hunting, riding his snowmobile where he was known as “Trail Boss” and "Big C". He loved the Green Bay Packers and was passionate about farming on the family farm. 

                Tim is survived by two sons, Jason (Alysia) and Jeremy (significant other, Laura Henderson) both of Chippewa Falls; one brother, James “Jim” (Kathy) Bowe of Chippewa Falls; five sisters, Sandy (John) Joas, Barbara Bowe, Mary (Steve) Klund, Katie (Chuck) Hall and twin sister, Teri (Don) Bernier all of Chippewa Falls; and three grandchildren, Avery, Aleah and Kaeden.

                Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

                A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 18 at St. Peter’s Church in the town of Tilden. Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Gorman will be celebrant of the Memorial Mass. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery.

                Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 17 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. There will be a Christian vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

AFTER SERVICE NOTICE:

A Memorial Mass for Timothy J. Bowe was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 18 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Tilden.

                Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Gorman was celebrant of the Memorial Mass and officiated at the prayers of inurnment in the church cemetery.

                Music during the Mass was provided by Avery Bowe, Katie Hall, Nancy Haley and the St. Peter’s Funeral Choir.

                Urn bearers were Carmen Bergeron, Don Bernier, Dave Goettl and Mike Olson.
