Wayne W. Bergevin, 92, of Chippewa Falls, town of LaFayette, died September 15, 2025 at the Cornell Care Center.

Wayne was born March 27, 1933 in Stanley, WI to Elton and Gladys (Brown) Bergevin. He was the 2nd oldest of their 6 children.

On September 19, 1955 Wayne married Karol Bjerke. Out of this union came a beautiful daughter, Kandi and a wonderful son, Rocky. They later divorced and Wayne married Lorraine (Prueher) Meyers on July 14, 1973.

In 1953, Wayne and a friend headed to the Leinenkugel Brewery because they heard there was free beer…he ended up working at Leinenkugel’s for the next 43 years! His favorite job at the brewery was driving their big, red semi-truck. Wayne was an outdoor kinda guy. He liked fishing on Lake Holcombe, hunting up North and cutting firewood…lots of it! Wayne and Lorraine enjoyed traveling and camping. After he retired, they spent their winters in Florida.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Kandi (Mike) Bresina; daughter-in-law, Cathy Bergevin; stepdaughter, Diane (Rick) Hedrington; grandchildren, Cody, Nate, Cory & Sissy; step-grandchildren, Tracy & Nic; greatgrandchildren, Sydney, Kaleb, Kate, Isaac & Tyler; brother, Dick (Colleen) Bergevin: sister Nancy (Max) Schultze.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; son, Rocky; his parents, Elton & Gladys; his sisters, Dolly Eppers, Doris Neutz & Judy Bergevin; and grandchildren, Zachary & Amanda Bresina.
