Owner/Funeral Director
Mike was born and raised in Chippewa Falls.
He graduated from McDonell High School in 1987 and from Mortuary School in Milwaukee.
He has been in funeral service all of his life and started working for his father, Ed in 1991. Mike bought the funeral home from his parents in 1998 and enjoys serving his community just as his parents did before him.
Mike is involved in several community organizations such as Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis, Moose, UCT, and Chamber of Commerce.
He is a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Mike serves as the Chippewa-St. Croix District Representative for the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association.
Mike enjoys spending time with his 5 children and 4 granddaughters: boating on Lake Wissota, golfing and traveling.
He is very proud to be a Military Family, 2 of the sons are in the US Army.

Funeral Director
Kelli was born and raised in Wausau.
Kelli completed mortuary school at Des Moines Area Community College. She has been a director for three years.
Kelli enjoys exploring the Chippewa Falls area with her dog, Virginia Slim.
Kelli has been with us since February 2025.
Kelli is excited to be part of the Chippewa Community and looks forward to meeting everyone in the area.
Funeral Assistant
Pat was born and raised in Chippewa Falls.
He is a graduate of McDonell High School in 1983.
He is active in his community with the Lake Wissota Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, UCT, and Moose.
In his spare time he enjoys watching all sports, movies and traveling.
Administrative Assistant
Peggy was born and raised in Chippewa Falls. She is the daughter of Michael and Beverly Goettl.
She graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High School in 1994 and is a member of St Peter’s Church in Tilden.
Peggy and her husband, Todd, have two children: Dillon and Hailly.
In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering and spending time with family and friends.
Peggy has been with us since February 2013.

Ed had served the Chippewa Falls area community for 51 years, and sadly passed away August 26, 2015. His compassion and sense of humor is missed by many, but his dedication to the community and the families we serve live on through Mike and the Horan Funeral Home Staff.
